WTAE-TV is now interviewing Associate Producer candidates for its news department. This is an entry-level position for an aspiring newscast producer. Heavy emphasis on news writing, web posting, graphic orders and video selection. Must be comfortable with new technology, intense deadline pressure and a high-energy environment. Must be well-versed in local and national news stories. You may work long hours, nights, and/or weekends, but you'll learn newscast producing from one of the most creative producing shops in the country. Involves occasional work on the assignment desk. Previous television newsroom experience preferred. Motor Vehicle Record Check required.
