300 Pounds Of Marijuana Seized From Driverless Truck
Police Find Truck Unattended In South Strabane

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. -- State police seized a whopping 335 pounds of marijuana from a tractor-trailer in South Strabane Township, Washington County.The drugs -- which police said could be worth about $500,000 -- were found in the cab of a Freightliner with Florida license plates on Thursday afternoon.Troopers discovered the drugs after checking on the truck, which they said had been left unattended with its hood up in a Home Depot parking lot off Route 19.
Police have not been able to find the driver yet. The truck was towed to Washington, Pa.Police said the vehicle is registered to GLS Trucking Co. in Jacksonville, Fla.No charges have been filed. Police are still investigating.
