A Washington County volunteer fire fighter is facing 12 felony charges of arson.

Brian Dunker, 22, of Brownsville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

Dunker is facing charges of arson, simple assault, reckless endangering another person and criminal mischief.

According to WTAE's news exchange partners The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Police said Dunker admitted to lighting a cloth that he put under shingle siding on a Middle Street home.

He also told police he lit a cloth that he wrapped around an electrical service wire outside a Main Street home, according to a criminal complaint.

District Judge Josh Kanalis set bond at $100,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Nov. 26.
