North Huntingdon Car Crash Leads To House Fire Overnight

An early-morning car accident led to a fire Thursday in North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County.

Police said a car crashed into a pole on Main Street, knocking it over, and power lines came down, starting a house fire at about 3:30 a.m.

Nobody was hurt in the fire.

One person in the car was taken to a hospital with injuries. The person's condition is not known.

Allegheny Power said the accident left 1,200 customers without electricity.
